ENAC IS PURSUING ITS STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES WITH AMBITION, TO TRAIN THE GENERATIONS OF TODAY AND TOMORROW TO MEET THE CHALLENGES OF OUR INDUSTRY.

Founded in 1949, ENAC was set up to train and coordinate the various players involved in the development of air transport in France: engineers, air traffic controllers, airline pilots and technicians.

The 9 ENAC campuses in France provide a genuine forum for exchanges between all these players.

ENAC also offers a unique combination of scientific and technical expertise,operational expertise and experimental resources, making it a major player in European and international research. 

Our missions

Since 2018, the school has been a Etablissement Public à caractère Scientifique, Culturel et Professionnel - Grand Etablissement (EPSCP-GE).

Its main missions are:

  • To train engineers and managers for all players in the air transport system by awarding higher education diplomas for which it is accredited.
  • To provide initial and continuing training for civil servants in the technical bodies and the DGAC through courses that are also accredited, with a high level of academic standards and associated professional skills.
  • To carry out research and innovation activities designed to advance scientific knowledge and remove obstacles for the benefit of the air transport sector.
  • As part of state aeronautical training, to train student airline pilots and professional pilots with the aim of becoming a world reference in terms of the quality of the training provided.
  • Helping to develop the French aeronautical sector internationally by providing training and expertise abroad.
