General Terms and Conditions of Application at TSAAE

1 – Purpose

The following General Terms and Conditions of Application define the rights and obligations of both parties (TSAAE and the applicant)and are intended to apply to the admission to Master, Mastère Spécialisé® and PGDIP programmes. This admission requires an online application on a dedicated website www.tsaae.fr.

Article 2 – How to apply

An application guide is available on the TSAAE website. Each application is individual.
Where the application is funded by an organisation or a company, each person must enrol individually.

Information on the dates and timeline and to the application fees is available at the following addresses:

Applications and relevant documents must be submitted online ( www.candidatures.tsaae.fr) in the section marked “Applications”. Note that candidates may make a maximum of 5 choices from either the Masters programs , or from the Advanced Master’s programs but cannot select a mix of Masters and Specialised Master’s in the 5 choices.
Only one application can be made per academic year and per candidate.
All applications must be submitted online according to the published timeline This timeline includes several admission sessions for which the deadlines for submitting applications are indicated and the date on which the results will be published at the earliest are indicated Any application submitted after the submission deadline for a given session shall be dealt with during the next session or rejected in the case of the last session.
Any application, in order to be valid, must cumulatively:

  1. Be subject to payment of the Application Fee, the amount of which is brought to the attention of the candidate at the time of his application. Payment of the Application fee may be made either online when applying or by bank transfer. Under no circumstances can the Application Fee be refunded..
    The application fee is not required for specific cases for which a specific agreement between TSAAE and an organisation or company has been concluded and for which the exemption of tuition fees is stated in the agreement.
  2. be accompanied by the required supporting documents (curriculum vitae in English, cover letter in English, a copy of the grade statements for the higher education diploma obtained or in progress, a copy of the higher education diploma certificate obtained or a certificate of attendance of the higher education diploma course in progress, 2 letters of recommendation signed and sent by their authors to lor-masters@tsaae.fr, a copy of the results of the language test accepted by TSAAE and indicated on the website, a copy of the current valid passport or identity card).
    Any applicant registered as a job seeker must also provide a certificate proving his or her status as a job seeker when applying.
    Only one application may be made per academic year and per applicant.

Article 3 – Selection and Dissemination of results

The Admission Board convenes and examines the applications for each of the courses and on the basis of the quality of the application portfolio of each candidate, constitutes a list of selected candidates.
The results are published online on the applicant’s account according to the timeline provided for this purpose.
The applicant is then officially informed of the result of his or her application by a notification on his or her personal submission account on the TSAAE site in the days following the publication of the results online

Article 4 – Registration for training courses

The admitted candidate receives from the competent services of each school the registration procedures that are specific to each of them.
Candidates admitted to ENAC must contact the service at the following address: admin.masters@enac.fr
Candidates admitted to ISAE-SUPAERO must contact the service at the following address: my.registration@isae.fr

Article 5 – Tuition fees

Each school sets the tuition fees applicable to entry into each course and are subject to:

  • For ISAE-SUPAERO: an annual decision of the Director General of ISAE-SUPAERO,
  • For ENAC: a deliberation of the School’s Board of Directors published on its
    website (under the heading “regulatory texts”).
  1. Terms of payment of ENAC tuition fees
    Candidates admitted to ENAC before the April jury are informed that there is a preferential rate known as “Early bird” for certain specific courses. A deposit of 1000 € is required within 15 days of admission. This deposit is nonrefundable. An amount corresponding to 50% of the tuition fees for the training in question is required before May 31 of the year of selection for juries held until April. From the May jury, an amount corresponding to 50% of the tuition fees of the course concerned is required within 15 days of admission. Full payment of the balance is required one month before the start of the course. Tuition fees are not refundable unless there is a valid reason and upon proof (e.g. inability to obtain a visa).
  2. Terms of payment of ISAE SUPAERO tuition fees
    A deposit of 1200 € is required to register to a Master’s program and 1500 € for the Advanced Master’s. This deposit in non-refundable. The balance must be paid before the course starts

Article 6 – Withdrawal period

The registered candidate has a period of 14 days from the date of payment of the deposit to exercise his right of withdrawal. Once this period has expired, the deposit will be deemed nonrefundable.

Article 7 – Personal data processing

In accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act amended, personal data concerning applications for the Masters, Mastère Spécialisé® and Certificate courses are subject to computer processing carried out by TSAAE for the purpose of fulfilling a mission of public interest within the meaning of the provisions of the GDPR.
The TSAAE Privacy Notice can be consulted on the TSAAE website: www.tsaae.fr, and the essential elements can be found below: For any specific request relating to the processing of personal data in the context of the TSAAE, or to know the main points of the joint responsibility agreement between ENAC and ISAE-SUPAERO, a request for information can be sent to contact@tsaae.fr.

TSAAE collects the following personal data for online course application and pre-registration procedures:

  • The person’s personal and contact details (surname, forename, gender, nationality, date and place of birth, e-mail, postal address and telephone number,);
  • The person’s academic background (dates, qualifications, field of study, university education;
  • Scholarship status;
  • Opinion and comments of the admission team and jury;
  • Jury decision.

This information is transmitted by the user via the computer platform and is collected in order to ensure the administrative management of applications.
Once the candidate has been admitted to a course, his or her personal data will be transmitted to the relevant services as part of the registration process specific to each school (ENAC and ISAE SUPAERO) and subject to the rules relating to the management, of personal data specific to each of them.
The data is kept for the purpose of communication with the applicant for 3 years from its collection or the last contact with the data subject.

Data retention
Data relating to applications are kept for the periods necessary for the processing of the application and may then be archived for an additional period, taking into account the applicable legal limitation periods, the recommendations of the Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés (CNIL) and the rules applicable to public archives (and in particular articles L212-1 et seq., as well as articles R212-1 et seq. of the Heritage Law).
Candidates for the courses concerned can exercise their right to access their personal data, to obtain a copy, to consult, rectify or delete the data or to impose restrictions on processing. They can exercise their right to object to the processing, the right to request an electronic copy of personal data, and/or the transfer of this data to another organisation (right to the portability).
If the processing of your data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent. In this case, the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal of consent is not affected.
The Data Protection Officer (DPO) of ENAC and the DPO of ISAE-SUPAERO are the contact persons for any request to exercise your rights over this processing.
