The three key principles underpinning teaching at ENAC :
Educational alignment
We are constantly seeking coherence between objectives, teaching activities and learning assessment, and we ensure that this coherence is perceived by our learners.
Diversity in teaching methods and activities
Lectures, flipped learning, group work, case studies, problem- or project-based learning, simulations, work placements, etc. are all opportunities to involve students and trainees in their learning by confronting them with practical, operational situations. This diversity also makes it possible to stimulate their motivation and that of the teachers, and to avoid a pedagogical ‘routine’.
Finally, it allows us to take into account the diversity of learners (cultures, backgrounds, etc.).
Educational innovation through experimentation
In order to avoid a ‘fashion effect’, ENAC carefully tests each teaching innovation before integrating it into the curriculum.
The school also encourages pedagogical initiatives by teachers who are developing their teaching in their discipline, based on the principle that pedagogical innovation can come as much from outside as from within the school.
ENAC’s teaching methods are open to all, with the aim of ensuring the success of all our students and trainees. For example, there is no selection during the course.
Our historical proximity to the major players in aeronautics (companies, institutions, etc.) gives ENAC a tradition of closeness to the major issues in the aeronautics sector, enabling us to be always ahead of its developments and to constantly evolve our teaching content.
This ongoing development also includes the continuous training offered to all teachers and instructors at the school.
